Hi!I’m katherine

Planner, Dreamer, and Traveller.

For 30+ years, I have been a travel agent and an avid traveler. I have been a useful source to those seeking inspiration, advice and help in making all their travel dreams come true.  I decided to start KATHonTRAVEL with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind and to hopefully give you a one stop shop to find all the necessary information you need to travel in this crazy world we live in.

To me, travel is everything – from the initial excitement of choosing a location, finding the perfect hotel, the most efficient way to get from point A to point B, unique tours and special restaurants – EDUCATE, ENTERTAIN and INSPIRE. The anticipation while packing and checking the weather gives me butterflies. I even love flying, as it is the calm before the storm. The only place where my thoughts are free to roam and the anticipation can build. Arrival heightens all the senses, the thrilling feel of unfamiliar lands, the exotic smells, the chatter of foreign tongues, the unique architecture and the taste of something new. You take it all in and hopefully hold a tiny bit in your heart.
